MyShop Billing ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app and website.

Your data is stored on secure servers powered by Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Camera Access

MyShop Billing uses your device camera solely for scanning product barcodes and capturing shelf/product images within the app. Camera access is requested only when you initiate a scan or photo. We do not capture, store, or transmit any images or video without your explicit action.

4a. Microphone Access

MyShop Billing may request microphone access for the Voice Billing feature, which allows you to add invoice items by speaking. Audio is processed on-device or through Google's Speech-to-Text API solely to convert your speech to text. We do not record, store, or transmit any audio recordings.

4b. Biometric Authentication

If you enable the PIN/Biometric Lock feature, your fingerprint or face data is used solely by your device's built-in authentication system (Android Biometric API). We never access, store, or transmit your biometric data. All biometric processing happens entirely on-device.

5. Push Notifications

We send push notifications for important alerts such as low stock warnings, trial expiry reminders, and payment confirmations. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings. Notification tokens are stored securely and used only to deliver these alerts.

6. Google Drive Backup

If you enable the Auto Backup feature, your business data is encrypted and backed up to your personal Google Drive account. We only access Google Drive on your behalf and with your explicit permission. We do not store your Google credentials.

7. Payments & Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information. Billing is handled entirely by the respective app store.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can request data export at any time by contacting support.

10. In-App Support Chat

MyShop Billing includes an in-app support chat feature. Messages you send to our support team are stored securely in our database (Supabase) and used solely to respond to your query. Support messages are not shared with third parties and are deleted on account deletion.

11. Children's Privacy

MyShop Billing is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

Upon deletion, all your business data, invoices, inventory, and personal information will be permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised aggregated statistics (not linked to your identity) may be retained for product improvement.
